Public Launch between Prairie Island Casino and the Nuke Plant?

    Does anyone know how long this public launch will be closed? I haven’t called the DNR yet. It’s been about 6 months or so. For those that care its been closed due to dredging. They are pumping sand from the launch to a giant sand hill by the Casino. It’s a lot of sand!!

    I assume you’re talking about the Sturgeon Lake ramp? There’s no definite timeline for the project, but I would expect it to remain closed through the spring time.
