If you’re looking at getting into reloading, there are a coupld of deals out there right now that I think are worthwhile.

Hornady has brought back their “500 free bullet” deal with the purchase of select models of reloading equipment including some of their popular “combo kits” that include much of what you need to get started.

Brownell’s has the Lock and Load classic kit on sale for $279. An interesting option because it includes a press, digital scale, powder measure, and press-mounted primer feed, and other tools.

Read the fine print, Hornady specifies which bullets you get as part of the deal, it’s not “pick any” so the value of this offer varies depending on the caliber you choose.

RCBS also has a rebate deal going right now. Amounts depend on what you buy, but if you can find a sale, this is a great deal.

Good info for sure, do you have any favorite places to deal with?

I’ve ordered from many of the well-known reloading supply places. Midway USA, Midsouth, Powder Valley, Brownells, Precision, etc. They’ve all been good.

The past 10 years, my choices have been all about who actually has stuff in stock as we’ve been hit with wave after wave of chicken little panic buying sprees based on speculation about what might happen if something actually happens at all. So I can’t say I really have a favorite. I love the place that has what I want in stock and/or at the best price.

Remember, with reloading equipment, it’s basically a lifetime investment and then some. I’m using a Lyman scale and powder measure that my father bought when he got into reloading in 1965. The press I’m using currently, an RCBS Rockchucker will most likely last 4-5 lifetimes if well maintained.
