Propane: Fill vs. Exchange

    Ive never has issues exchanging tanks from various places. They dont care. I generally exchange, but it is cheaper to refill. If your tank is in good shape refill it.

    Doubtful. Tanks are never filled 100 percent. You might get 16# maybe 17. That’s the same story everywhere

    I watch them refill it at Tractor supply and they are refilling to 20 lbs.

    Either way though, I’d rather pay per pound than pay for a 15# refill, unless of course my tank is beat up then exchange at kwik trip or menards.

    Cmon now, just buy an electric vehicle and I will let you recharge at my house after you refill those tanks
