I use a Yamaha T8 kicker with a 4400lb aluminum boat with a 10 degree hull for salmon trolling in Lk Michigan at about 2.5mph +/-. I bent my prop in the river because I was lodged on a sand bar. LOL
After I tried to straighten the fins and grind the outer edge, it is vibrating and unbalanced.
I need to get a new prop. I believe Yamaha calls for a 11.75x 7 prop. Do you guys recommend going with any other size props because I exclusively stay around 2.5mph. I know nothing about prop sizes, so any info would be great.
