Looking to see what prop this is to replace it. It’s on a 40HP Mercury, age…. early 2000’s. These are the only stamped markings on the prop. Thanks!

The “17P” stamped on the hub indicates it’s a 17″ pitch prop; the diameter appears to be 11 based on the stamping on the side which would be about right diameter wise for your prop, so a “11 X 17”. Any chance you have a tach on your boat? If not, what is it on? A 17 may be a bit much.

It’s on a 16.5′ aluminum Crestliner. single console, front deck

2070T looks to be just a stock Mercury aluminum prop. Size would be what Marineman said.

If you’re happy with the performance, you could just have it repaired.

If you take the prop off there will be numbers either on the inside end of the prop hub or under the nut and washer. If it’s a Mercury prop the part number will be something like 48-XXXXXXA45. You’ll be able to check that number to get the pitch and diameter.
