Prop 2013 WX 1850

    I have a 2013 Skeeter WX1850 with a Merc 150 4 stroke the prop is a 3 Blade Tempest 19 pitch, this thing is so slow getting out of the hole any suggestions?

    Start by making sure all the PVS plugs in the prop are solid so the prop does not vent.

    Well can’t hit a reef last week in Canada and took out lower unit so I am getting a new prop in the deal and just wanted to see if there is someone out there with my same rig and options on prop set up.

    Try a rev 4 17 pitch. A Rev 4 17 pitch will turn similar rpms on top as the 19 pitch tempest. Rev 4 gets on plane right now but loses a few mph on top. I have both props on a ranger angler 1880 with a 150 mercury four stroke.
