anyone have one of these?? mine is the prosport 8 model.
last week while near Bemidji on vacation I thought mine had quit on me as all of the lights would start flashing after ninety seconds.
I down loaded the owners manual as mine was back home but I could not find how to read what the flashing lights meant on mine.
So with a sense of dread I called the toll free hotline expecting to never get through, and of course I didnt and was asked to leave a message with my phone number,I am sure many of you have been there yourselves.

To my pleasant surprise in less than a half hour one of their techs called me back !!!
He told me how to diagnose it by completely unhooking both batteries and then plugging the charger back in.
I had the power and ready status lights, good there.
I then hooked up the starting battery side, again, power and ready lights on,so far so good !
I had to unhook that side once more and set the leads off to the side.

Now it was the deep cycle batteries turn, after ninety seconds, all of the lights started flashing again, crap !!
Unhooked it again and put the deep cycle connections onto my starting battery, this was to prove if it was the battery or the charger was at fault.
almost immediately the power and ready lights came and it stayed that way hooray!! my charger is fine !!

My Interstate battery that was one week shy of being a year and a month old was junk.
I dont know what went wrong with it but I am guessing it couldnt hold up to two one thousand mile round trips bouncing up and down the road that far in the boat,or I simply got a bad one which does happen on occasion.
Hopefully I can get warranty on it,if not, thats the way it goes, yous pays your money and yous take your chances with things like that I guess.
Thank goodness my friend Russ had brought a spare battery for just such an occasion !! THANKS RUSS !!
The spare battery he loaned me and my charger worked perfectly the rest of the week.

I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to the Promariner team for getting back to me so fast !!
and for helping me out when I was five hundred some odd miles from home !!
They even offered to overnight one out to me if needed but fortunately I didnt have to go through that.
I was even given the offer of sending mine in and if it needed more in repairs than what if was worth, they would send me a new one steeply discounted, and that was with me being the second owner of this one !!

It sure makes a fellow feel good to know a manufacturer will take care of you when you need them the most !!

I have had a Cabelas 3 bank charger made by promariner. I have had it for 6-7 years without any serious problems. Would buy another one
