ProLong Live Well Stuck

I recently bought a 1997 Pro V SE. There is a panel below the throttle area that has two Livewell arms which have options ‘Fill’ ‘Empty’ and ‘Recir’ (according to one diagram I think this is a ProLong Livewell system). Anyway, both arms are stuck and cannot be moved. My front livewell only gets like 3 inches of water in it (assuming since the lever is stuck on empty). Also, the boat takes on water albeit, the bilge is able to remove it within 10-15 seconds for every hour I’m out there.

What could be the underlying problem with the switches stuck and is it possible these two issues are related? I should mention the rear livewell does not work according to the mechanic I took it to. It was going to be over $1k to fix (new pump etc) so I told him I’ll get around to fixing it at a later time.

I used to own a 1998 Pro V 1660. The levers for livewell move a cable. In my boat the Valves and pumps were under a compartment just behind the front livewell. Remove screws, lift up small section of floor. Then you can inspect your situation and take it form there.

Water in your boat could be coming from cracked livewell tubing, loose rivets in hull, ect….

    1000 dollars? Way too much!!

Yeah not going down that road. I’ll do it myself for that.

I pulled the control module off this afternoon and got it to move. Still pretty tough but it moves at least now.

The plug was really old and the nozzle was broken off. Finally got it out and replaced that as well. Figured that’s the cheapest possibility on the list.
