Product Recommendation – Lowrance Hook 9

I see Cabela’s has a $200 rebate on this model and wondering if anyone has any feedback on this model. This model will be a significant upgrade for me but, is my $900 better spent elsewhere or could I pick up similar functionality on a used model for less $$.

The offer is for a Lowrance Hook-9 Mid/High DownScan Sonar/GPS combo and for $900 is the Sonar/GPS Combo.

Any feedback on this offer and unit?

ttt – anyone?

I have been looking at this series as well and my research has found that the processor in the Hook units are slower than the HDS gen series units.
For whatever that is worth to you, that’s my 2 cents that I can offer.

If I had 900 dollars to spend I would get one of the following.

I’m going with the Garmin Echomap 93SV
I’m like the garmin’s beacause they come with the maps preloaded
