I heard the RABC people are not “essential” so if you have an outstanding application it might be sitting a while.

They do work slowdowns. One vehicle every 5 min or so. They also won’t collect tax or duties. They are essential workers so they can’t walk off the job.

So can you bring in more beer than normal with no cost or would they confiscate it?

Not a big deal 90% are considered essential and can not strike, don’t make it a bigger deal then it is.

The strike is delayed until Wednesday. The backup and delays at the border are not caused by strikers not being at work. The strikers cause delays by asking 50 questions of each vehicle instead of the usual 5.
