Hey everyone, I am a prospective boat buyer (hoping for next year) and am checking out boats that I like and what options I want etc as I will likely have this boat for the next 20 years, so I want to make sure I get one I like. The models I am most interested in currently are the Lund Renegade and the Ranger RT188, although I am leaning towards Lund due to their reputation with aluminum boats, plus they’re slightly cheaper.
Can anybody tell me the difference between the Renegade and Pro V Bass, besides the price? The Pro V Bass is likely out of my price range anyway but I’m not entirely sure what the difference is. Is the Pro V just geared towards bigger water, with larger engines and whatnot (more inline with a fiberglass boat) where the Renegade is geared towards smaller lakes? Most of the lakes in the area are not huge. I might see some action occasionally on Lake Eerie or Lake Champlain, but there’s a ton of smaller lakes just north of me in Vermont I would be fishing a lot in.
Thanks in advance.
