Hey guys I am new to this site I watch in depth outdoors when I cant fish or get on the ice. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what size spoon works the best I don’t want to fish to heavy but I don’t want to fish to lite as well. Also what seems to be the best color to use, I have done real well in the past two seasons on really tiny tungsten jigs but I think fishing aggressive can also be a good thing on really tough days.

I’ve always found the 1/16th ounce spoons have worked the best. As for colors, Glow Pink and Glow Red have always been my starting point when fishing flutter-style spoons for crappie.

I just got some 1/16oz Pro-Series…a bit pricy but IMO worth it…..

The colors and finish are awesome… )
