Threw one of these 3X models on my looter shooter and couldn’t be happier. Lightweight, compact, extremely clear/bright and appears to be built like a tank. The optics rival HD glass, that is how crisp the view is. Primary Arms offers veteran discounts and that brings the price down to $288.
If a person really critiques the tip of that reticle on the target, you “can” shoot MOA groups at 100yds. The reticle is etched into the glass and appears very clean. The optic features a “shake awake” feature that lights the reticle the instant the weapon is moved to save on batteries. Optic adjustments turn exactly opposite of most rifle optics, which I found kind of odd.
At 3X magnification, you can get on target very quickly at 10yds for defensive work. But, it has markings out to 600yds if you are so inclined.
