I have heard people talk about how the spikes in barometric pressure can either cause the fish to be active or slow. Is it when the barometric pressure spikes real low or gradually gets low or am i just confused?

Thanks for the help in advance! Lines tight! waytogo

I can add this. Over the 50+ years I have been fishing I can say with confidence. Low pressure equals good fishing. I have literally watched funnel clouds passing by in a direction that could not endanger myself and my fishing partner and had fish going insane. I could have sworn there were not that many fish in the whole body of water.
Conversely, my toughest days fishing have been during high pressure which accompanies cold fronts.
