Gated off this week and closed for improvements.

I moved the barriers yesterday and fished but today that’s a no go.

    Save the trip.

Pick a different landing for now and I’ll update this thread when it’s open.

Debating if I want to drive to everts tonight.

Looks like new cement going in the water. Didn’t think it was necessary but what do I know

I bought my landing sticker from the city last week and they told me all this week. Not sure of exact day it will reopen.

Gubment has done a good job of making zero progress this week.

    Use at your own risk.
    Still “closed”

And I would NOT advise you to use it… At this time

I believe the man in blue used the term “asinine”.
    Little overboard IMO.
    But you get the idea

You wouldn’t think it would need to slow them down either.

Not like they aren’t working on black top and replacing cement in water… Seems like a great job to PLAN to do on a rainy day.

As long as they dont grossly overcharge for yearly non-res like Hudson I will cut them some slack. Hudson, you suck! Feels good to get that out of my system once is a while! jester

The new slab was sitting in the parking lot on Sunday when we floated past it.

Nice. I just wish they could expand the lot but I dont think there is any room.

    This is really dragging on.

    FYI,
Landing has been posted as “use at your own risk” since Saturday.

Ive been using it the past couple weeks with my small 14ft boat. It does say use at your own risk.

Is the landing that bad where you will have trouble putting in a bigger boat? We have a 27 foot Formula and are wanting to get in the water soon for the season.

Assuming your docking that boat… I’d use a marina or launch in Hastings.

We keep it at points marine that is right by the landing so that’s why i’m asking. They also dont have a launch so may have to launch it out of Hastings.
