Had a pretty good night last Friday… called in 6, killed 2 and had 1 run off that I couldn’t recover. Sure would be nice if we could keep some snow on the ground for some consistent hunting conditions. This weather sucks

Nice job on the song dogs!!. I have a boat load of land that I haven’t hit yet this year. Been holding out for a few clients and everything just seems to be going wrong – starting with the weather. Wrong winds, snows gone, no moon light,….and guys rescheduling like crazy. Most fun has been road howling just to listen to them sing and tell me where they are at. Almost time to treat myself to a few sets

Their is plenty of snow by me! Nice Dogs!

The real problem is calling them in. Seen one over the whole weekend.

Hay jeff those are good looking dogs. What kind of gun do you have there, how many yards will it reach out and tag a yote? I am just getting into calling this year have bin reading the posts for awhile and getting some good ideas. good luck hunting thanks Chip.

Hey Chip, I’m shooting a 6×45… It’s a pretty decent shooter, fairly flat trajectory out to around 250, then I have to start using holdover. Most of my shots are inside of 200 so it works out pretty well. Good luck out there…
