With the full moon about a week away and no real chance of any snow accumulation in the near future, I decided to slip out for a quick hunt this morning. The wind was right for a spot that I haven’t hit yet this year so I gathered up my gear and took a hike. At around the 25 minute mark a well furred female with great markings popped up at about 70 yards… I wasted no time lining up the 6×45 and putting her on the ground.
