    I got a pm with a question that I thought was worth sharing –

    “Randy, I see in your pictures that you usually have the bolt open. Do you worry about getting brush in your rifle when in the field?”

    SAFETY FIRST! unloaded and OPEN bolt and I never have a thing to worry about when taking pics or walking in front of the muzzle

    Itch or boom that gets the blood flowing…… When it come to dogs it`s the drop dead now moment.

    Doing some scouting around the farm today, I did discover it is way to early for me to even think about dog hunting. Gut piles and boned out carcasses not even being touched. Found one Doe had to be a freak accident that had a 6 inch tree limb laying acrossed her dead as a doornail, and no other mark on her. Never even touched by dogs yet.
