I found a Primos Turbo Dogg on ebay new, unused, in the box shipped for $118.00…… Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to save some bucks. I like the looks of that Alpha Dogg…. maybe shoulda held out….. but anyway, I can download a bunch of stuff online with it and I’ve fired it up….. sounds pretty good to me so I have high hopes for it. Once I actually start getting coyotes on some level of consistancy, I’ll probably get more excited about investing in a Fox-Pro but for now, it looked like a great way to go for the money. I’ve invested a quite a bit between the Naked North camos, the caller, and the rifle.
Ready for this though? I went nuts on “visibility” because in my woods, I think I’d stand a better chance at them sneaking around in true – stalking fashion. I’ve actually done this twice, stalking deer in blaze orange, and still “bumped” into a coyote so if I can create an awesome “hard to see” image, I should be able to get lucky once or twice. I’ve actually been working on this thought for awhile and I think the Naked North would be great for ridged backdrops, fencelines, and swamp edges. I have a different set of clothes that I refer to as “woodland horizon”…. where I actually wear a darker top and snow camoed bottoms. This also bodes well for standing at the base of dark cover. The bottoms match the ground and the uppers match cover. When dark uppers are desired, I bought that Savage Axis that’ll fill that demand. Anytime I use snow camoed uppers, I’ll carry the new Howa.
