Are you guys using a decoy much of any sort? On my first set this year I had a Black Jack going over by the ecaller and a yote came in perfect but hung up once he saw the decoy. Since then I’ve left it in the back pack and focused on how I set up, meaning I work hard to make it so the caller is somewhat out of the line of sight and they have to come in fairly close to see the area the sound is coming from and its worked well. I’m pumped for some snow.

I keep a scrap muskrat pelt and hang it up if I’m in an open field where a visual can make the difference. If I’m hunting heavy cover, I don’t bother

My go to decoy isn’t much of a decoy. I have 2 arrow that I can screw together with a turkey feather tied to a swivel attached to one arrow. Takes very little wind to make it move and the movement is so erratic the yotes can’t help but come in and check it out. Light weight and quick to set up. I find with 2 arrow I have the chance to get it up higher off the ground if needed. Its cheap, easy and works great.

Bass, it would be cool to see some pics of the setup.
