Fascinating to watch them when they are not disturbed. So much of their habits can be learned during these brief encounters.

Great video and thanks for sharing!

Definitely got caught with my pants down here…we were turkey hunting and checking valleys when my buddy Scott spotted this guy on the bottom. I thought what the heck and started making a kissing noise on the back of my hand and as you can see he came with in 10 feet…I wasn’t ready for that so I didn’t even take cover!

Boy, you must have some really good camo! I don’t have working speakers right now so did you do something to “expose” yourself or did he scent you when he ran off? It’s so cool to see one that close!

Stillakid…we had our turkey gear on so we were camo head to toe, but I was standing in the field and my buddy was directly to my left…in the open! Once he jumps on the logs the camera snags the limb in front of me and makes a noise…alerting the “sly” fella to my location! He could’ve been dusted rather easily! Very neat to him so close…I’ve had another encounter once when one came about 5 feet from me off a logging road!

That was good. Got to love movie maker!

Do little playing with the snapshot feature. You can add the stills into the vid. Like when the fox was on top of the wood pile, etc. Can put transitions in between the action and still as well. I made a few of them yote hunting with the dogs this year on bays.

Will post one in another thread as an example.
