I started calling and after my second sequence I spot movement on the creek bottom. Sure enough its finally a song dog. I didn’t waste any time putting her down at 125. Felt pretty darn good to finally get one and to have my good buddy with to share the experience with. We hunt together all the time and finally put a ‘yote on the ground. And this is right after deer hunting in Illinois and calling in 4 others without connecting on any of them. Only got one shot and the cousin missed so I guess that doesn’t count against me. Feels good to actually start getting some chances at them. Now all I have to do is down
