Got out tonight and what a night started out just before midnight and on our third set my hunting partner seen one charging in and came to a stop just under 200yrds and I couldn’t see it at all. So he took the shot and we weren’t sure if he got it. The moons power was pretty light down the valley he went and I seen him strike the dragging pose One down and one more to go to get our goal of ten dogs for this moon. The mext set was my turn and after distress calling and nothing we howled and then distressed and there he was about a buck twenty five and down he went then Wade took a shot we had the female sneak around the knowl on us. Goal met Two sets later two yotes came screaming to us but we were too late they got behind us game over? Not yet they came back down there tracks and the first was already doing mock 2, then the other one came down only to get a quick crack and a miss. Made a few more sets with no luck and called it a night, except for taking some time for some great pics Going over the five days of hunting we called 21 and spotted 2 in between sets. Had an absolute blast now back to work and time at home.

Nice job, Eric… sounds like you had a great week. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the yote hunting comes to an end for the season, it’s been a ton of fun. I’ll probably start sleeping again…
