I’m curious what everyone is using for predator calls. I’m always looking to expand my collection and wondering what’s the next thing I need to get. I use a Johnny Stewart dog howler (cyc-1) and a Zink screamer S-2 for a cottontail distress and a Circe P-2 for a Jackrabbit just to mix it up. I have a Hot Dog and a Lil’ howler also but I like to sound different than everyone else calling. I use them, but only in places I know someone hasn’t called to them already. Anyone ever use Carver calls??

I seem to use my circe cottontail in distress, red desert howler., and my dakota yote barker. Sometimes the dakota yote barker will really bring them running in. Oh ya i almost forgot I also use the squeeker I robbed out of my dogs toy. When I hunt north dakota I use the Dakota Yote jackrabbit in distress and fawn disress calls. Sometimes around here when hunting timber I use a squirel in distress too.

I never carried a squeaker until last year. I was so excited a dog that hung up, I couldn’t pucker up enough to squeak! I robbed a squeaker out of my dogs toy too.

“I robbed a squeaker out of my dogs toy too. “

I thought I was the only one that did this. I have a lot of home made calls that originated from my dogs torn up toys.
