On all my yote guns I have Weaver Classic v 4×16 with fine crosshair. These scopes are awesome. The cross hairs aren’t for hunting timber but for open ranges you can really pinpoint your shot. the optic are extremely clear even at 16x. Its amazing how much light is gathered in these during low light too. These also come with an 1/8th inch target dot too on a fine crosshair. I have 1 rifle with one of them too.I use that rifle in .243 as a antelope gun too. For the quality these are a bargin!!!

Burris! I upgraded to the XTR Extreme Tacticals on all my long range rifles. They have a few great lines of scopes for various budgets.

    BURRIS

Lots of great scope options out there,… Weaver, Burris, Nikon, Leupold, Trijicon. Magnification range is up to the individual. I’m excited to try out the Leupold VXIII 1.5-5x30mm (illuminated German #4 reticle) that I put on my R-15 this season. Most of my shots have been 150yds or less and my misses have been runners that are close. Hopefully the greater field of view and less magnification will allow me to capitalize on those shots.

Should be no Problem with that scope on your r-15. The little bro is running a very Nice U.S. optics scope on his and loves it.
