If you’re in Wisconsin, you can use a light at the point of kill… you could put out a bait pile and thump them when they come looking for a snack

I can’t wait to start droppin’ some ‘yotes

If they in close distance just shoot them with a .22 in the head, and assuming it will be at night it wont make as much noise. If they out there a ways and you can make as much noise as you want any caliber will work.

pretty much any centerfire will do, if you’re talking close range a 12 gauge loaded w/ 3″ #4 buckshot or some High Density BBs would do the trick as well… I’d pick the one you shoot best and go from there… good luck

Take care of them before they get too comfortable. I read today that Jessica Simpson had her little dog snatched up by a yote right in front of her.

If you really want to get them out, gut shoot a few of them and let them get away and die. IMO, they don’t like to be around their own dead. Yotes wise-up pretty quick, so make the first shot(s) count.

    Best of luck.

along with what rage said about coyotes not liking to be around their own dead, I have family in Texas and when the ranchers shoot one down there they hang them on the fence posts to keep more away we have a lot of young ones around us now and they are really getting vocal at night

If its dark and hard to aim a rifle just get some 00 Buckshot. That would do nicely. Easy to hit them even if they are moving.

There is a well known concoction out there used to feed problem racoons. It works well for coyotes too I guess. I cant remember the recipe but could get it for you very easily. Have heard it a half dozen times from farmers that have problems with their animals and coyotes…

My .223 Mini 14 with ATI stock comes complete with 120 lumens of the brightest light you will see! Plus an Ultra Dot laser scope for low light. You look “Past” it with both eyes open and watch the dancing dot. Dead on out to 100 yards and beyond in daylight.
