after seeing str8shooters awesome red fox pics it reminded me of the snaps I took a month ago. While driving home after a day on the ice, two red fox were dragging each other across the road. Being next to a farm I initially thought they were tangled in twine until it slowly dawned on me that it was mating season

After talking to my fed. warden-neighbor, he stated that male fox have a spike on the end of their that prevents the job from ending prematurely.

This leaves me with one question……is it natural to be jealous of a male red fox?

Where do you think the term “dog knotted” came from?
