Went out once again this weekend seeing a total of 7 fox and 3 coyotes. Ended up getting 2 reds. First picture is from saturday. We started they day off running two coyotes that we should of had but we couldnt hit the broad side of a barn. As soon as we lost them as they ran into the riverbottom we ran into aother guy and he asked if we could help him try to recover his wounded fox that he shot earlier in the day. So as he was sneaking up on it, it spotted him and took off. Then a few minutes later we had him cornered as he was walking closer and closer and closer to the road. Finally he got about thirty yards of the road and my buddy Nick whacked him with the .222 Rem.
Ended that day with chaseing a coyote right at dusk but i got to dark. Sunday we seen one red early in the morning but it also ran to the river bottom. Around nine o’clock another friend of ours spotted two reds in a section. By the time we got over there there was 3 farm dogs chasing them. One of them got out of the section and we lost that one the other one we ended up getting (the second picture). After about two hours of chasing him he wen into four different sections. Finally my buddy nick shot him at about 60 yards out in the middle of the last section. Oh yeah.. we also shot two raccoon this weekend two. Only one is picture though. Both fox had very nice fur on them. Both tan worthy but we are saving them all till the end of the year and are going to sell them for maybe a little end of the season party or maybe some more goose decoys for this fall.

Another hunting buddy shot this tonight. Saw it laying on a snow bank lying out of the wind. Snuck up on it to 125 yards. Got a good shot right in the neck.
