I am a reloader, and have had several .243s. My best over the counter factory load has been good old Remington Green box 80 grain bullets… PSP (pointed soft points). They are not expensive and would be fine for Coyote and/or Fox.
Overall your rifle will tell you what it likes best. My favorite Varmint handload is a 55gr Nosler Ballistic Tip loaded with a good dose of Varget powder that cracks 4,000 fps!

YES THAT LOAD WORKS WELL IN MY REMINGTON 700 HEAVY BARREL 12-1 TWIST GUN TOO. 45 GRAINS OF VARGET WORKS IN HOT OR COLD WEATHER TOO. IN MY SAVAGE 243 9.5-1 TWIST GUN LIKES ANYTHING AS LONG AS YA KEPP THE SPEED AROUND 3500-3700 FPS.40 GRAINS OF 3031 BEHIND A 58 GRAIN V-MAX IS ABOUT RIGHT IN THE SAVAGE.

For ease of finding ammo, Federal Vital Shock in 70gr. ballistic tip will be more than good enough to take care of the job at hand. I’ve found some Black Hills Ammo in 55gr. and some Hornady V-max Moly’s in 58gr. and my .243 likes the 70gr. factory loads better. I don’t know how this compares to custom recipes but for factory stuff, this is where my rifle shines.
