I’ve recently have just started getting into the prederator hunting bussiness and have been getting good advice from my teacher (Str8shooter) and I want to purchase a digital call and I was looking at the Hunters Specialties Johnny Stewart call…Is it worth the money???

For a cheap (price wise) e-caller, it isn’t too bad. I have spent some time with one on calling set-ups last year. The sound choices are basic, but are effective. The volume is fairly decent for short range calling set-ups.
The only thing I didn’t like was how the sounds were played. The sound plays for X amount of time and then stops. When you do your next sequence, it is the same sound with the exact same cadence everytime.
To me, that is too “robotic” and not very realistic. That is why I rely on hand calls the most.
But, for the price and the number of cards you can get for it, it is a good buy for a beginner

I agree with wats. Most cheaper e callers will sound robotic. I love my hand calls, no sequence sounds the same and they are alot lighter to carry.

They will get you by just starting out but if you have the means go with a foxpro call. Alot of money but are will worth it.
