I bought a new Tikka last July and ended up with radical back surgery a week later. It is set up for Yotes/deer/etc with a new 6.5X20X40 (Adjustable Paralax) Premier Alaskan Guide scope…mil dot reticle.
I sighted it in and only got to run some test loads with 95gr ballistic tips and 85gr Sierras. Both shot under an inch.
Sako/Tikkas have slightly heavier barrel contours than std Remmys, Rugers etc… and are known for their accuracy…This one is in Stainless.
I thought I would post this here first since it is a Predator set up…it will be in the classifieds soon with some pics. BTW the Cabela’s scope is excellent…I would rate it as good or better than my Leupie vari X IIs.
I am asking $700 for the pkg… The rifle cost me $569 scope, bases, and rings…over $300 in July.
