I plan on whacking some coyotes this winter, do I need a fur bearers license or anything special to do this?

I am no expert by any means and someone can correct me if I am wrong but I belive you can hunt yotes all year long without a licence in MN.

Oh yea the will do it. becarefull of other people dressed in white that maybe doing a sneak on them. Allot of people now are using a 204. I personally have used my .17 center fire on Fox and some yotes for closer range shots and pull out the 220 swift for those long range ones. 7mm is a little big but there is no law that says you can not use it that I know of. Maybe think about a 204, 250, 220 6mm et…or even a 243 if you have one laying around. Good luck and kill them things.

I’d love to but something just for this but its not going to happen this year. I have had several farmers tell me kill any coyotes you see, so getting on shouldn’t be a problem

I live in East Bethel. If you want to head out let me know. I have the top of the line electonic call and also do well with hand calls. I Love the 223 and the 204 as well. If you want to go some time let me know we can head out and you can be the trigger man. Yes a 7mm will work we all know it will put them down. If you get one and want the pelt skin it out and sew the holes shut right a way. Most people will never know there was a whole there.
Oh ya and a 12 guage works well for fox and yotes in Close.
Shoot me a PM I can send my number you way if you want to just talk Predator hunting.

I have a ten gauge single shot thats a wrecking machine on turkeys that should do for up close action.

Dang Sippi, you are all about eratication aren’t you? I like the skins myself, but I am more interested in giving the local pheasent population a fighting chance. Good luck and go get em!
