What whould be your dream predator hunt? Would it be shooting bobcats and yotes in the southern states or going to canada to shoot wolves and yotes. I would love to go to canada to shoot a wolf. Maybe one day we will be able to shoot one of these in northern wisconsin.

Picking off a few of these preditors in my driveway that like to steal change and the occasional vehical! A pellet gun would do the trick

I’d agree with the wolf hunt…… unsure of wolverine. They’re having population issues as a species. Granted, if a wolverine license helps establish more knowledge and habitat for their survival, they’d be a great test for any hunter and I’d be tempted to go for it myself!!! What a hoot!

Right now, I’d settle for my first coyote hunt, anywhere. I’ve finally got the gear for it so now I need to find somewhere to do it!

Going to an area loaded with coyotes and half filling the back of the truck with nice hides, shooting 25 or more in a full days hunt.

Hey stillakid, I used to work in Wyoming and to kill time at nights we used to hunt jackrabbits from the back of a pick up truck on BLM land thats owned by the Bearu of land management. My brother would drive and I’d stand up in the back and when the headlights hit the jackrabbits we’ed shoot. We seen alot of coyotes out in the trucklights that were also hunting thier meal of rabbits too. Coyotes are everywhere out there and in a serious week of calling and shooting I bet you could score 50 to 75 coyotes and probably more. I know thier trouble to the cattle and sheep ranchers out there. Be fun to pull a trailer there and hunt a few ranches for a week or two in November or December. We lived in Casper and drove to the edge of town out on blm land and seen alot of antelope and some very nice mule deer too, some real nice ones with big racks and wide spreads along creeks later in the day watering themselves. Just north of Casper about 25 to 50 miles is full of Coyotes, mule deer and antelope.

I also spent some time out in Wyoming. I lived in Gillette, Rock Springs, and Torrington. Two of those places I worked on ranches and also did predator control. Coyotes out there are like the deer are here. The ranchers out there hated coyotes especially the ones raising large herds of sheep. If a person wanted to spend a week in the winter out there strictly hunting coyotes, you could easily pay for the trip by selling the hides back here. Western hides hold more value than the northern hides due to the western hides being of better quality. I have a small fur buyer that told me if I ever get any coyotes from CO or WY, he will pay me top dollar for all of them. The buyer also has a business where he makes garments out of the hides and sells them all over the world.
