After watching the weather last night I got up early and hit the woods in search of some yotes again. With a low of -5 and no wind my hopes were high. I set up on a powerline clear cut overlooking some spruce and cedar trees. After a 10 minute wait I catch movement in the woods to my left. I catch one moving my way, I turn and get ready to shoot. It steps out in the clearing along with 2 others. This is my first triple I have ever called in. I take the second one since his hide looks better than the first. I turn to find one of the other two and catch him standing in the woods. But couldn’t find him in the scope untill it was to late.
SO for all of you yote hunters get out there and keep your local pack in check.
Will post pics when I get home from work.
