First off, I would like to thank James for adding this forum. Now, let’s make use of this by posting our preferred techniques, successes, and of course our failures . I have a great deal of experience in calling out west in Colorado and Wyoming and have enjoyed great success. But, I will tell you hunting the coyotes in the Midwest has been, well, humbling .
I hunt them for the enjoyment of keeping my hunting skills tuned in the offseason as well as doing my part in controlling them. We all know that an abundant population of any predator can wreak havoc on our upland birds, rabbits, deer, and livestock. But, I also feel we need to have some of these same predators around to keep nature in check. Thank you for all who make good use of their knowledge and pass it on
