Heavy Hauler – Its the best – period. Avery and tanglefree are mostly all over-seas knock offs as far as I’m concerned. Competitors’ braided cords are not wound as tight, and fail much more frequently.
You’ll spend a couple dollars more on Heavy Hauler, but you’ll most likely have it for a lifetime.
Off the main band, you want short cords. This will keep you from having a tangled freak’n mess. Been there and done that with cheap stuff. Nothing more frustrating than sitting at a set trying to get a call loose so you can use it.
On the HH supremes, i like the snap swivel they use. You can change the locations, swap out calls, take some off and leave behind…very versatile. Their D3 model is nice, but for $5.00 more, the supremes are much more comfortable
