Prayers for friend to many here and fellow member John Rasmussen

I got a text an hour ago from John stating that he and his friend Al were in an accident today.
From what I understand a young gal pulled out in front of them and they tried swerving to avoid a collision but the inevitable happened.
John was a passenger in a pickup that got totaled as did the trailer the boat was on, the car the young gal was driving was totaled as well.
Happily everyone is alive, John stated he felt like he went a round or ten with Tyson, he is in pain of course from slamming into a seatbelt, his friend Al faired better from what I am reading so far.
So, if you will, lift John, Al, the driver and her two friends in the other car in your prayers for a speedy recovery please.

I am sure John will sign in and update us when he can, thanks everyone.

Prayers for a quick heal for all involved. Luckily it wasn’t worse.

Thanks Sheldon. I will be fine I think. In some pain but starting to feel better. The young driver was taken in the ambulance but probably sustained a concussion, hopefully nothing worse. The two other gals were shaken but ok. I took a few hits but nothing to my head. Tore up my legs a bit in the air bags or dash not sure. Al faired a bit better than me but has some bruises and not sure about his neck had a little pain there. It shut down highway 47 for while just south of St. Francis. I will try to load a video that my wife took of the scene. My buddy is in the video I am not.

John and I had a scare in this situation. The 17 year old girl driving did go to the hospital. She showed signs of a concussion. I hope thats all she has experienced. 3 girls and a mother in the Audi. Hopefully she learns to look both ways

Prayers for everyone. Take care John and glad you are OK. You should go get checked out by a doctor just in case something develops later. Better safe than sorry.

First off, prayers sent to John and his friend. He seems like such a good person. As well as the other party involved.

Iowaboy, you are an angel. You gave me the most heartfelt, long message when I(basically a stranger to you) went through my worst loss. Very selfless guy, and I know that’s an understatement.

Glad everyone should be okay, it looks like it could have been far worse.

Holy smokes! Glad no on was seriously hurt we need good folks like John around here helping all us knuckleheads out!
