Power on/off loop

Really disappointed that Humminbird knows about the software issue causing this but isn’t pishing the new update (hopefully it fixes it). In the update email all I saw was onix onix onix so I never checked on core updates. Yesterday out prefishing for the mwc and the loop starts on the 1199 so fished blind yesterday and got to make a trip to Ramsey today so basically lost 2 days of prefishing because of a problem with a month old unit.
On another note I would like to thank Tony and Skeeter Boat Center for giving me a different head unit to use the rest of the week. U guys are top notch

Are you wired directly back to the battery or the console fuse box?

WHat’s the software issue?
I’m running the 1199 and updated while on the water last saturday. NO issues yet, but curious what the ON/OFF loop is?

Yes all 3 graphs are wired directly.. Sbc did the rigging..
Tony said several core units have come in in the last couple weeks.
When u turn it on it goes thru the warning pages, then when u hit exit it starts to read then shuts off and starts over. It keeps looping around and around until u pull the power. If u are running the May 4th update u are probably alright. Tony thought it was the February one or whatever the last one was before last week
I just got the other head unit hooked up and it works great.
