Power Cable 858CHDDI

    I bought a PC11 cable so I can move my 858 to another boat for winter spring use. Does anyone know what the round thing is on the cable? Just curious.

    It’s an electrical “choke” to minimize interference noise.

    Noise filter. It cleans up the interference in the power supply from things like alternators and electric motors. Especially important on sensitive electronics.
