Have you tried taking off the bimini and storing it like how the Lund Crossover does it? I always thought that this was the best feature of this model. Gets it out of the way for 90% of the time when you don’t need it, but then you have it easily accessible for the 10% of time when you do.

Love the lay out of the boat. Having young family it would be perfect. Well almost perfect, if I could afford it would be perfect.

I haven’t done much with the bimini at this point. Only 4 hours running the motor.

There is something that’s not right with the Solera’s bimini storage. It’s a new model so some questions take a little longer to get answered. ‘Course I have to ask the question first!

Going from tin to a brand spanking new glass boat, Lowrance to ‘bird, 2 to 4 stroke and a large remote for the trolling motor is a bit over whelming. Soaking it all in.

You just worry about keeping it off the rocks, let the GD worry about all that technology Grandpa. grin

Outstanding rig….and you are planning on fishing for “MUD ROCKETS” in that pretty thing and getting slime all over it?

LOL! I’ve kept my Lund for the few guide trips I’m doing this year in June. But the Favorite Wife has placed her foot into the Lund for the last time I’m afraid. Guess that’s why there’s Folbe rod holders on the Solera!

It’s on FB Denny. It wasn’t good enough to put it on YouTube to post it here. I hope to get out with it on Sunday and get some better shots.

I just bought the same boat and took her for a break in yesterday. Did you notice when on plane at about 24 mph or so that when turning it was digging a hole? -thanks!

What prop did you go with?
    How many in the boat?

Chaz, I was out last weekend… I forgot that you mentioned 24 mph…I was running 34 mph and cut a nice 180 degree turn around a nav marker. With any boat making a corner like that, power needs to be added but to be honest, I didn’t add much at all.

I was going faster then my comfort zone. Just me, my PFD and my AutoTether on. shock
