does anyone know of places that rent out small fishing boats? It would need to allow for someone to be able to rent it for a weekend and tow it to the lake they want to fish. Looking for a boat to use for opener for me and a buddy. his uncle sold the cabin on the lake we fish every year for opener and we would like to fish it again this year but don’t have a boat to use.

the lake we fish is in the spicer area
Call that sport shop in Spicer (sorry can’t remember their name) or google the local boat dealers. There are 2 or 3 right on Hwy 23. They will know if anybody rents boats over there.

I believe that boat rentals are still currently prohibited under the stay at home order.

Long time until opener, lots of things can happen but he should be able to find if anybody rents locally.
Might want to check with resort on the lake you want to fish they may be able to help you.
