Porting data between brands of graphs

    I have some precious data on my Humminbird & zerolines chip… especially from treacherous uncharted lakes up in Canada. Tracks and contour data that is incredibly valuable. It can mean the difference between a 20 minute relaxed coffee-sipping run out to a spot or a white-knuckled hour taking it slow and trying to remember where that one rock was…

    So my question is; are any of the big three graph manufacturers porting data from other systems? Being locked into one brand for your whole life seems really unappealing.

    GPSBable can covert waypoints and tracks

    Humminbird PC program allows you to export all your tracks and waypoints to gpx format. From there you can get almost any where. Auto Chart data I’m not sure. Likely not transferable.
