Im looking for a portable transducer mount that would work with my 93sv. I have a small 14′ lund boat that I will be taking out on smaller sloughs out here in S. Dakota. Wondering if anyone has done this before and what options are out there? Couldnt find anything on the garmin website

Do you want a DYI pvc plumbing pipe style or a purchased one?
Brew City has a nice mount and they make a rod holder adapter.
February 21, 2023 at 12:43 pm #2183286I made this very crude mount for my Helix last year to use on my duck boat. Might rig it up with the transducer from my 93sv I just bought, but not if there is a trolling motor adapter with it that could be hose clamped or zip tied to the pvc.

February 21, 2023 at 12:49 pm #2183290I should’ve mentioned this would be for the the regular open water transducer. Not the livescope transducer. I would like to use quickdraw countours and map some lakes/sloughs
February 21, 2023 at 1:11 pm #2183294I’ve used this on a couple of prior 14-16′ boats. Worked well and was solid.
I do see that MG is out of stock on them but you could probably call Russ or Corey and find out when they expect to get restocked.
Can’t get this direct page to display but its the Sully portable transducer bracket.dirtywaterPosts: 1537February 21, 2023 at 1:19 pm #2183299I used the transom mount and shaft from an old minnkota endura and then fashioned a connection between the bottom of the shaft and the standard garmin mounting bracket. It worked well. The transom mount was super solid since that’s what it was designed for, and it was really easy to adjust the depth of the transducer or quickly tilt the whole thing outta the water if I slid too shallow. I’ll see if I can find a photo laying around.

I believe the one I got from Garmin was like 10 bucks. A much better option is to look at the Scotty transducer mount which will clamp onto your transom. Ram mounts also makes one as well but is just more expensive.
Look at the YT channel FarWater he does all kinds of fishing in the Bw and has some great videos on the portable Helix 5 setup he uses in his canoe using the Ram mount system. Here is a picture of the setup I use super lightweight and portable gets the job done.

NodakkPosts: 534February 21, 2023 at 3:33 pm #2183345I have this one on a 16’ duck boat with a 25hp. Never had any issues. Very heavy duty. Would recommend
February 21, 2023 at 4:16 pm #2183358Just mount the transducer to a piece of aluminum or wood and c clamp it the the transom.
Don’t need anything fancy for it to work. I do this all the time for my 14′ puddle jumper.RipjiggenPosts: 11592February 21, 2023 at 4:27 pm #2183364These are 30$ and work great. Oops same one as nodak posted.

I liked the trolling motor bracket concept. I ended up using a Brew City pole that I cut down. It fits perfectly into the bracket.
