Poor fella

This smallie had a rough life. He would have made 18″ if not for the missing tail!
Smelled bad too. Got a few smaller junk fish like this sheep fishing last night.

Only if she could speak! I had a walleye on LOTW 2 years ago that looked like it just got out of a barroom brawl. It was only 28″ and my buddies kept joking “you should put it on your wall just to put it out of its misery”. At least she has some nice consistent colors for how beat up she is.

I had a similar large mouth last year up north. Ugliest fish I ever saw and it stunk so bad. Big fish but no fight. When the smell hit us my wife and I at the same time said “get that thing outa here!”
