Ok, dont take this the wrong way, I like looking at the eagles as much as anybody, but…
I drive the stretch from wabasha to lake city at LEAST once a day. In the last 3 days Ive seen 2 REAL close calls. Ya gotta pull off the road to look at the eagles, DONT slam on your brakes when you see one in the tree!!!
I came around the corner today, guy and his wife halfway on shoulder and half way on road staring up at an eagle??? Semi barreling down on them from the rear, I had to move to my shoulder so semi could get around them… They never even stopped looking at the eagle???
Just a heads up to use caution when traveling through this area, someone might decide to make a sudden stop or already be stopped on this stretch of road…

It happens everywhere.Someone in a burgundy colored Buick Uglyzvous almost caused a collision @Hwy 53 and Sandlake road in Onalaska.Just watching deer, unmindful of the 6 or so vehicles behind. That person was getting plenty of one-finger salutes .No hazards on.I had to take the shoulder to turn left onto S.
