From the NWS “… given that we have not seen a significant system in the past week (Feb 28th through today, March 7th) we decided to not run the outlooks today as they really will not change. So we are looking for the next outlooks to be updated on March 24th (unless we start to Melt).

With that said, I want to bring to your attention that outlook for the 8 to 14 days period of March 14th – 20th is somewhat concerning with ABOVE Normal Precipitation and ABOVE Normal Temps. Long range models do so a moderating trend, but whether or not it will be warm enough to trigger a melt is yet to be seen.”

We may be in for a flood of record!

They’ve been sand bagging at Whitman dam for the last two days. Heard projected levels will put the river over the high wall….wowza!

    Sorry Herb.

More like same crap, different season in the year. We haven’t seen a normal stage and flow down here for nearly 3 years. Judging from what is predicted to come, unless you or we go into a period of drought it will be at least 6 months and more before we see normal.
