    Looking good for an overdue mental health day on Friday.

    I have Friday off, but I’ll be on the ice. Should be a good day to lay the wood to some perch.

    I had a couple days off work so I went down along the river to cut firewood, dead elms along the road. Usually the rivers froze in that area but for more then a mile down river from the dam the waters open and clear as a bell. From the road above that runs along the river you can see the deep water and this is where the Pike and Walleyes lay during the winter. I need to get my boat out too and throw some spinners close to the bottom for pike and slip the current with jigs for walleyes, I need to go bad too.
