bowfishing places?

i am a new person at bowfishing and i am from the lacrosse county area and am looking for places to go bowfishing if you know of any places please post thanks fish’n kid

If you have a small boat and a trolling motor (no gas motors) go to Myrick Park in LaCrosse. We used to go there every year, but wait until June. Yes it is legal to bowfish there. If we get a little flooding that place is hot. Also try Goose Island, there are plenty of carp out there as well as gar. We used to go on the Pike between LaCrosse and LaCrescent, but they put up a guardrail on the road we used to go in on. Even if you do not have a boat, the bike trail that runs along the slough in Myrick Park is good. Just walk along the bank and shoot them from there. Sometimes a tree hugger tries to give you problems, but they cannot stop you. There are tons of places to go, just look for water .
