Hay do me a favor will you? I need to know the name of that stuff you said did so well on cleaning up a boat. I need something that takes little elbow grease, spray it on and rinse it would be great. I was up to Everts the day after Christmas and my boat and trailer got in terrible shape from the grime on the roads up that way. I dont know how you guys can live that way, and let your roads get so grimmy? (but thats another story) I know there was a big discussion on here a few months back but rather than make me go way back and find it just give me a name if you would and also is it available at Wal-Mart or K-Mart that sort of place? The ice went out of our river down this way and I cant be seen (down here) with my boat in this condition.

    Thanks

    You have it right here

    http://www.nauticalease.com/

EFN / FTR will have the Nautical Ease Spray Boat Cleaner in our online store (opens in about 10 days) here.

But, go ahead and order from them now, just tell them we sent you!

You’ll love this stuff. It is the bomb! Works great…

I’ve tried lots of commercial products in the past, some so strong they etched my driveway as the stuff dripped off the boat. I switched to a solution of vinegar and car wash soap at that time (1 cup vinegar plus car wash soap to a pail of water). It was really good but then I learned an even better trick last year. I now carry a sprayer in my truck that contains pure household vinegar. When I pull the boat out spraying it down with pure vinegar is one of my routines. An old towel or two make short work of river grime, and water spots as well. I pull it home clean as the day it was new. For comparison sake, vinegar is less than $1 per gallon.

Thanks for the support. Maybe we could sell vinegar in our store. You obviously havent tried this stuff. It doesnt burn, it doesnt stink, (certainly not any worse than vinegar) and it doesnt etch anything in the drive way. And the best part is if we sell some of this SUPER product in the store it help us afford to keep the site running. Nautical Ease spot remover is going to be in our store because it is a darn good product.

My experience was that I tried many other cleaners… no success nothing would cut the grime. I breezed through the filth with the Nautical Ease, to the point that it was nearly too easy… worked so well I had them send our entire staff samples… and EFN now will sell it in the store.

Besides it leaves a nice clean odor and your boat will not smell like vinegar!

    You’ll love it!

As I just told Steve, I will try it for sure. And yes…my boat “does” smell like vinegar for a couple days afterwards. This could be the “new” solution for me.
