Curious about Ice conditions Pool 9 Lansing Iowa

I heard rumors of guys ice fishing near lansing can anybody confirm this had friend that said he was there today and saw guys on the Ice

Could very well be true Buzz… I have heard today that there have been people on the ice down by Bagley too…

Took a drive to Lansing on tuesday. Fishing Machine told me there had been a few guys on the north end of Shore Slough this past weekend. And Ted Peck posted a short report with a photo from there over on lakelink. Cold Springs was ice covered up to the boat lane that heads to the main river. That area was still open with a truck and trailer sitting in the lot. The Indian was trying to make ice but looked to be too much current coming down through it yet. The Dredge Hole (Charles City Bay) was ice covered, but again, a little too much current along the dike to allow access to it.
